Prithvi Shaw

Pune: Batsman Prithvi Shaw continued his brilliant run with the willow with yet another hundred in the ongoing Vinoo Mankad under-19 zonal one-day trophy yesterday. He followed up his fifty against Saurashtra in the opening game with consecutive hundreds against Gujarat and Maharashtra at the MCA Cricket Stadium here. He has amassed a whopping 277 runs in three innings with an impressive average of 92.33 so far in the tournament. Prithvi’s match winning innings in all three games has also ensured Mumbai topping the table. He shot to fame when he slammed a record 546 runs while playing for Rizvi Springfield in an inter-school game in the Harris Shield in 2013.
