Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma began the year 2021 on a cheerful note as the couple became parents to a baby girl on January 11, 2021. Virat Kohli made the announcement on his Twitter handle.

It is indeed quite an auspicious day in the cricket world as Kohli's little one shares her birthday with none other than India's legendary batsman - Rahul Dravid.

Virat Kohli went on to thank all well-wishers and also gave an update on the baby and Anushka Sharma's health stating that they are 'both healthy'. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in a private ceremony in Florence, Italy on December 11, 2017.
In the ongoing cricket series between India and Australia, Virat Kohli led Team India in the first of the four-match Test series on December 17, 2020 at Adelaide, where the visitor lost by 8 wickets. After Kohli took a paternity leave to be with wife Anushka Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane took over the captaincy for the rest of the Test series.
Team India went on to win the second Test match at Melbourne by 8 wickets and drew the third Test at Sydney as the series is interestingly poised at 1-1 with one game remaining.
India and Australia will play the fourth and final Test match at Brisbane on January 15.

Kohli went on to thank all their well-wishers and also gave an update on the baby and Anushka`s health stating that they are `both healthy`
