Politicians looking to score some easy points with people in Mumbai recently renamed Elphinstone Road railway station on the Western Railway as Prabhadevi. Before that they had decided to rechristen the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus by add the word ‘Maharaj’. And before that it was the proposed Oshiwara station which was renamed 'Ram Mandir' even before the station could be inaugurated.
