VVS Laxman to make commentary debut

A batsman who made a name for himself while playing in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, VVS Laxman will be now seen in a new role of a commentator for the upcoming India vs Australia series

The Test cricket series which gets underway in Chennai today has a star-studded line-up for commentary, which includes legends like Sunil Gavaskar and Allan Border after whom the series is named.

Sanjay Gupta, chief operating officer (COO) of Star India Pvt Ltd, said: “We have brought in a world-class line-up of talent with stars like Navjot Sidhu, Kapil Dev and Ramiz Raja joining their illustrious compatriots like Gavaskar, (Ravi) Shastri, Border, (Shane) Warne, (Matthew) Hayden, (Wasim) Akram, Harsha (Bhogle) and others.”
