Unbeaten on 114 on Day One, Pujara looked poised for yet another big score, but he was done in by Graeme Swann’s flighted delivery and Matt Prior made no mistake in stumping him. Finally, England found a way to dismiss Pujara, who went unbeaten for 16 hours and 55 minutes in the series.

“I think this (knock) was better than the Ahmedabad innings. This innings was more satisfying than the double hundred because we were in trouble and the team needed bit of score on the board and I thought even the wicket was difficult to bat on. So, yeah it was satisfying to score a hundred on a difficult wicket,” he said.
