Indian team members indulged in a wide range of sports including water-skiing, parasailing and sunset cruises during their break after Centurion Test defeat

Before arriving here, the Indian team spent a memorable few days in Sun City, a luxury casino and unique resort situated in the heart of an ancient volcano. They stayed in the Palace of Lost City, the biggest of the four world-class hotels, that is known to glitter like a jewel beneath the African sun, and is surrounded by a magnificent set of rain forest.

Been there before Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Laxman, Harbhajan, Ishant, Gambhir and Sehwag were the ones who didn't visit Sun City, deciding to stay back in Johannesburg, which is just two hours away. It is learnt that most of them had already been there and were keen on relaxing in the South African capital.

Dravid and Dhoni were with their respective wives. They reached Sun City at 1230 hours on Tuesday.

They revelled in plenty of activities in and around the place, including a visit to the Valley of Wave ufffd an artificial pool where a natural wave was created. It is the most advanced water park in South Africa.

A large lagoon dominates the scene with a wave machine capable of generating 1.8 metre waves every 90 seconds. This water park has five exhilarating flume rides.u00a0

Coaches Gary Kirsten and Eric Simons played some golf in the Lost City golf course.

Some of the players also enjoyed a wide range of water sports including water-skiing, parasailing and sunset cruises that can be enjoyed at the resort's waterworld.

There were lots of Indians staying at the resort. They clicked photographs with the cricketers and enjoyed being in their company. But primarily, the Indian players relaxed during their stay there.u00a0

The players also visited the GameDrive safari and the Pilanesberg National Park. The park boasts healthy population of lions, leopards, and black and white rhinos.
