The Hyderabad crowd, especially those who witnessed his 186 not out in the ODI against New Zealand in 1999-2000, will be hoping for a three-figure knock. Apart from the massive 175 he scored vs Australia (2009), Tendulkar also took a hundred off NZ in the 2003 TVS Cup.

Hyderabad local Venkatapathy Raju, who’s been Tendulkar’s teammate till his last Test in Kolkata 2001, is hoping for ton too. “I am not ruling that (a hundred) out. It will be great for the local fans,” Raju said.u00a0
