Bangladesh women won the toss and elected to bat first against India at Old Trafford in Manchester. India needs to win the match to keep their hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals alive at the Women's T20 World Cup.

The last time Bangladesh beat India in a T20I was in the 2018 Asia Cup final. While they are yet to register a win against India in a T20 World Cup, they will take confidence from the conditions at Old Trafford, where spin has proved more effective than pace.
