Indian captain Virat Kohli has been fined for excessive appealing during India's match against Afghanistan in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019

Indian captain Virat Kohli lost 25 percent of his match fees after being fined by ICC for aggressive and excessive appealing in the nail-biter vs Afghanistan on June 22.
"Kohli was found to have breached Article 2.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to "Excessive appealing during an International Match", an ICC release said.
