<p><a href="https://mid-day.com/sports/football/article/spurs-edge-manchester-united-to-win-europa-league-and-end-trophy-drought-23548702" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>Manchester United</strong></a> manager Ruben Amorim and skipper Bruno Fernandes have offered to leave the club if it means United can start anew and achieve success in the long-run following their Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.</p>
<p>&ldquo;If the board and the fans feel that I&rsquo;m not the right guy, I will go the next day without any conversation about compensation,&rdquo; Amorim said.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&ldquo;But I will not quit. I&rsquo;m really confident in my job. And as you can see, I will not change nothing in the way I do things,&rdquo; added the Portuguese boss.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Fernandes, who has been the Red Devils&rsquo;s standout player this season, also echoed the coach&rsquo;s sentiments. &ldquo;If the club thinks it&rsquo;s time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in or whatever, it is what it is,&rdquo; said the star midfielder.</p>
<p>The defeat in Bilbao capped a miserable season for Manchester United. They are currently 16th in the <a href="https://mid-day.com/sports/football/article/kevin-de-bruyne-receives-farewell-post-man-citys-victory-over-bournemouth-23548671" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>English Premier League</strong></a> and with no European football next season. Their already dwindling finances will only suffer more.&nbsp;</p>
