According to Serbian website, inserbia.info, Germany's FIFA World Cup-winning midfielder Schweinsteiger (30), was in a relationship with former World No 1 Ivanovic for about two months.
The couple were even seen publicly holding hands and strolling across New York recently while Ivanovic (26) was participating in the US Open. Earlier, in August, Ivanovic had nominated Schweinsteiger for the ice bucket challenge.

The report claimed that on Saturday night, Bayern Munich's Bundesliga match against Stuttgart, Schweinsteiger met Sarah at a hotel where he promised her that she has "a permanent place in his heart".
Schweinsteiger and Brander have been in a relationship for seven years (2007 to 2014) before they broke up recently. Brandner was also seen along with some of the other German WAGs during the national team's matches at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil two months ago.
