CAS cuts Michel Platini's ban from football to 4 years

Zurich: The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Monday reduced suspended European football governing body (UEFA) president Michel Platini's ban from six years to four years.

"The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rendered its decision in the arbitration procedure between Michel Platini and the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). The suspension of Mr. Platini has been lowered from 6 to 4 years," the CAS said in a statement.
