Substitute Shivam Shah emerged as the hero for Cathedral & John Connon School (Fort) as they beat Nahar International School (Chandivli) 1-0 to book a place in the boys U-14 quarter-finals of the Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) World Cup Fiesta inter-school football tournament at Azad Maidan recently.

Cathedral introduced Shivam with seven minutes remaining, and he delivered by curling a shot into the top right corner (28’) to win the match for the Fort school. In another boys U-14 match, Holy Cross Convent School (Mira Road) beat St Anthony’s High School (Malwani) 2-0, thanks to goals from Krish Mathur and Shubhang Shirgaonkar.
