Following Arsenal's 5-1 drubbing against Bayern Munich in Champions League group stage on Wednesday, we list five Champions League matches that saw teams suffering defeats with a not-so-flattering scoreline.
Juventus 7-0 Olympiakos (2003-04)

Even though Juventus had already progressed to the next round, they stamped their authority on their group with a devastating victory over Olympiakos. Goals from Fabrizio Miccoli, Enzo Maresca, Marco Di Vaio, Alessandro Del Piero and Marcelo Zalayeta gave the Italians a thumping victory.
Bayern Munich 7-0&nbsp;FC Basel &nbsp;(2011-12)

Mario Gomez scored four goals as Bayern Munich demolished FC Basel. The match was played at Allianz Arena, which was Champions League Round of 16 Second Leg. Bayern won 7-1 on aggregate. Pre match the swiss side was leading 1-0 on aggregate in first leg which was equalled during the second by Arjen Robben. The Bavarians went on a rampage scoring 7 goals with basel scoring zilch.
 Liverpool 8-0 Besiktas (2007-08)

This was the do-or-die match for Liverpool who desperately needed the win to keep their hopes alive for qualifying to the next round. Peter Crouch opened the scoring for the Reds which started the goal fest. Yossi Benayoun was the star for Liverpool, scoring a hat-trick at Anfield. The win is considered to be a record-winning margin for the CL.
Arsenal 7-0 Slavia Prague&nbsp;(2007-08)

Arsenal put on a fabulous display at the Emirates Stadium in the 2007-08 Champions League knockout stages by hammering Slavia Prague 7-0. Cesc Fabregas's stunning strike put the Gunners ahead just after five minutes while an own goal from David Hubacek made it 2-0. This was also Theo Walcott's first Champions League goal before Alexander Hleb scored one and set up Walcott his second. Bendtner scored the last one contributing to the high scoring match.
Barcelona 7-1&nbsp;Bayern Leverkusen (2011-2012)
