The victory leave Real Madrid atop the Group B table with most points in their three fixtures. On the other hand, Liverpool will face Madrid for a rematch at Bernabeu on November 4 with slim chances to enter the last 16 round.
France's Karim Benzema scored a brace while the Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo added another.
Ronaldo had never managed to score at Anfield in the five appearances he made for English Premier League club Manchester United, but the case was different here.
