London: Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has said he feels 'betrayed' by his players as the English champions suffered yet another defeat in the English Premier League, this time to table toppers Leicester City 1-2.

Goals from strikers Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez sealed the deal for Claudio Ranieri's side on Monday, with forward Loic Remy pulling one back for the defending champions. It was Chelsea's ninth loss in the league and put them just a place above the relegation zone with only 15 point from 16 matches.
Unheralded Leicester's amazing form continued with the win that put them top of the standings with 35 points from 16 games.
"One of my best qualities is that I can read the game and identify the strengths of the opponent and tell my players what they are," Mourinho was quoted as saying by The Independent paper on Monday after the loss.
"So it is a big frustration to accept the goals because my work was betrayed, if that is the right word. I worked four days in this match. I prepared everything related to the opponent. I identify four movements where they scored almost every one of their goals."
"My players got all that information in last three days, you can ask them, they are honest guys who will tell you it is true. But in the situations I identify, we concede the first and second goal. The mistakes were there," added the Portuguese tactician.
Under-pressure Mourinho insisted he wants to continue as the manager.
"The only thing I can say is that I want to be the manager. I have no doubts and I think that you know me well enough, six years here, that I am not afraid of a big challenge. At this moment, it is a real big challenge and I want to stay. I hope Mr Abramovich and the board want me to stay," the 52-year-old said.
&ldquo;I know that the board wants the best for this club. I would like the board to analyse the situation, the budget, the balance of the club and what they were expecting.&rdquo;
Mourinho added that he does not want to add players to the squad in the January transfer window but urged his side to drag themselves up and get results.
"I don&rsquo;t think it is right I go to the club and say this player is not good and we need to spend 50 million pounds or whatever. We have these players and it is with these players that we have to go. But they must feel intact with their pride and get results in a humble way."
