Santiago: Colombia bounced back to stun Brazil 1-0 at the Copa America here Wednesday, avenging their bruising defeat to the South American giants in last year's World Cup quarter-finals.

A first-half goal by Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo settled a frenetic Group C encounter in Santiago which leaves Colombia firmly in contention for a place in the quarter-finals. Three teams -- Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela -- now have three points in Group C.
