British actor James Corden claimed England football great David Beckham had stuffed his pants with socks for his iconic Armani underwear commercial 20 years ago. Corden, 39, made the claim when talking about the time he tried to copy David's Armani shoot for a spread in Heat magazine.

The comedian also said the former midfielder got in touch with him to confess his sock shame. "David told me he had more pairs of socks in his pants than I had in mine," Corden told British tabloid, The Sun, yesterday. The Armani advertisement was one of the multi-million pound endorsement deals Beckam has landed over the years.
