Doku ended Brentford&rsquo;s &nbsp;resistance on the hour mark when he curled a fine finish in the top corner. It was his fourth goal in his last three games for City.

City&rsquo;s failure to beat Everton on Monday took the destiny of the title race out of their hands, but Doku ensured they kept the pressure on leaders Arsenal. &nbsp;City are two points behind the Gunners, at the time of publishing.
&ldquo;Doku is outstanding. [He] looks like the final product already. He always had this incredible ability to dribble. But now he is winning [us] games. I&rsquo;m so pleased to have a guy that brings energy and can score goals,&rdquo; said Guardiola, who added that the title is &ldquo;not in our hands, but we&rsquo;ll do our job and wait.&rdquo;
