London: Under-fire Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho cut a frustrated figure as he weathered questions about his side's bruising 0-3 defeat at the hands of Premier League title rivals Manchester City. Ever the pugilist, Mourinho protested that Chelsea's improved second-half performance on Sunday meant the scoreline was "fake", but neither the impression left by the game nor the statistics bore him out.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho

"We were the best team by far in the second half. What they did in the first, we did in the second," he said. "We dominated and when they feel they are in trouble, and they felt (that), they changed Aguero and (Raheem) Sterling, they try to recover control of the game. It is exactly when they scored the second goal. For me, completely fake."
