In a see-saw encounter, New Zealand and Turkey had to share points after the opening Group 'B' match of the FIFA U-17 World Cup that got underway at the DY Patil Stadium in Nerul yesterday ended in a 1-1 draw. For the young Turks, Ahmed Kutucu registered his name on the scoresheet, while skipper Max Mata ensured the scores were levelled later in the second half.
