With a vital win under their belt, Los Cafeteros, who lost their opening match to Ghana (0-1), qualify for the knockout stage after earning three vital points to jump to second spot in Group 'A'. The Stars and Stripes, placed third with six points, qualify for Round of 16 as one of the best third-place teams.
