FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced on Tuesday that he will be joined by US President Donald Trump at the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 final, where the two will watch the match and jointly hand over the trophy to the newly crowned champions.

This update aligns with an earlier report from talkSPORT, which indicated that football's governing body has raised no concerns regarding Trump presenting the World Cup silverware directly to the victorious captain or standing alongside the team throughout the podium celebrations.
