Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly paid $375,000 to a woman who accused him of raping her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009. It is believed that Ronaldo&rsquo;s accuser signed a settlement in 2010 on the condition that she would drop all charges against him and never speak about the agreement in public, according to Germany&rsquo;s Der Spiegel magazine.
The Portuguese forward, once arrested in 2005 on suspicion of sexually assaulting two women in a London penthouse suite, has not spoken publicly of the 2009 incident. However Gestifute, a sports management firm that was founded by his agent Jorge Mendes, issued a statement on Friday and termed the incident as journalistic fiction.
