New Delhi: Delhi Dynamos FC today signed Spanish goalkeeper Toni Doblas for the second season of the Hero Indian Super League beginning next month.
An experienced goalkeeper, 35-year-old Doblas has played for top clubs like Real Betis, Napoli and Zaragoza. He is strong in the air and has an impressive foot-work. He is known for his skills when defending free kicks.
Having won the Coppa Italia with Napoli and Copa del Rey with Betis, Doblas brings on board invaluable experience and a winning mentality that can be crucial for Dynamos in their ISL season 2 campaign.
Commenting on his signing with Delhi Dynamos, Doblas said, "I am very excited to start a new adventure in my career and I am looking forward to be a part of this decorated team that Delhi Dynamos is building. I am confident that we will do very well this season and win our first title."
On Doblas' signing, Delhi Dynamos FC president Prashant Agarwal said, "We are delighted to have signed Toni for this season.
