Kylian Mbappe will spearhead France at the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup as coach Didier Deschamps, on Thursday, announced his 26-man squad for the tournament in USA, Canada and Mexico.

Deschamps, who guided France to World Cup glory in 2018, did not spring too many surprises — the biggest absentee was Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, while backup goalkeeper Robin Risser is the only uncapped player in the squad.
