England and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy&rsquo;s wife, Rebekah has revealed that she nearly broke her husband&rsquo;s fingers when she went into labour while giving birth to their son, Finley recently.
The couple welcomed their second child earlier this month, but not before a medical emergency complicated matters.
&ldquo;I was screaming to the midwife, &lsquo;just break my water&rsquo; but she wasn&rsquo;t allowed to because if I needed emergency treatment, there were no consultants available. The pain of labour was so intense, I was holding Jamie&rsquo;s hand and I nearly broke his fingers.
&ldquo;The worst moment was the amount of blood and water which came after Finley. It was not a pretty sight. It was like Niagara Falls,&rdquo; said Rebekah, who married Vardy (30) in May last year, was quoted as saying in an interview with OK magazine.
