Houston: Mexican national team striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez underwent successful surgery here to repair his fractured collarbone, and the prognosis for his recovery is four weeks, the Mexican football federation said in a statement.

"Javier Hernandez's surgery ended successfully. The player is in post-operative recovery," the federation said on Twitter on Thursday, reports Efe.
