Rustomjee Cambridge International (Virar) striker Pratham Kanchadkar’s hat-trick led them to a commanding 6-0 win over St Xavier’s High School (Fort) in the boys U-16 Ahmed Sailor knockout tournament, part of the Dream Sports Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school football tournament, at Wings Sports Centre, Bandra, on Thursday.

In another knockout match, JBCN International (Oshiwara) registered a 1-0 win over Don Bosco International (Matunga). Adhyanth Ashok scored the winner for JBCN. Also, St Mary’s ICSE (Mazgaon) defeated Aditya Birla (Tardeo) 3-2 via the tie-breaker after the match ended 0-0 in regulation time. Diyaan Ranawat, Mohammed Ali, and Mohammed Ansari netted for St Mary’s while Sunny Basu and Ishaan Bhartiya struck for Aditya Birla.
Later in the day, Gokuldham High School (Goregaon) cruised to a 3-0 win over Rustomjee International SSC (Dahisar). Varun Surana, Aarav Aidasani, and Malhar Bhave scored a goal each for Gokuldham.
