Sartak Daval produced a late but crucial goal to help Dr Antonio Da Silva (Dadar) beat St Aloysius (Bandra) 1-0 in the opening game of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA)-organised Oliver Andrade boys' U-10 trophy at St Stanislaus school ground, Bandra yesterday. The Bandra outfit failed to capitalise on two scoring opportunities which proved costly for them.

After the end of a goalless first half, which was dominated by the Bandra outfit, the Dadar team started off cautiously in the second part. Four minutes before the end of the game, the Dadar team striker Sartak breached the opponents' defence and scored in the 36th minute to win the match for his team.

In another match, Don Bosco 'B' (Matunga) beat Jankidevi Public School (Andheri) 5-0. Aaditya Rane Shurya Kadam, Renish Nadar, Shakthi Thevar and Sufiyan Mulla scored a goal apiece for the Matunga side.
