Barcelona: Barcelona football star Neymar has been sued by a supporter of his former club Santos for quiting the Brazilian team for the Spanish side, according to reports in Brazil. <img title="Neymar" src="http://images.mid-day.com/images/2014/dec/18Neymar-1.jpg" alt="Neymar" /> Neymar&nbsp;
Brazilian lawyer and a lifelong Santos fan Luciano Pereira Caparroz has sued Neymar for signing a pre-contract agreement with Barcelona before the Club World Cup tie against the Catalan club in 2011.
Caparroz claims he spent around 2,000 pounds to travel to Japan to attend the match and was later furious to discover that Neymar had signed the deal with Barcelona beforehand. Santos lost the match 0-4.
He has filed a lawsuit against Neymar and N and N, the company owned by the player's father which represents him, in a Sao Paulo court for 6,600 pounds.
Caporroz wants the money to cover the costs of his journey to Japan and as compensation for 'morale damages' associated with the player's decision to leave Santos.
He said: "I'm a Santista, I go to all the games and I decided to travel to Japan to watch the Club World Cup. I was left frustrated with the result and on top of that, later on we learned that Neymar was already sold. I feel cheated," he was quoted as saying by The Daily Telegraph Wednesday.
Neymar and N&amp;N are yet to comment on the matter.
