Manchester: Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has refused to blame Raheem Sterling, although the striker missed several scoring chances during a 1-2 defeat to Italian giants Juventus in a Champions League clash on Tuesday evening.

Sterling wasted a chance as early as the second minute and was off target in the second half as well when he only had Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to beat as City went down 1-2 in the Group B game at home despite producing a good performance.
