A superb hat-trick by striker Pranay Dalmia and the fine efforts of skipper Vidit Vohra and attacking midfielder Kshitij Joshi, both providing two assists each, saw Chatrabhuj Narsee Memorial (CNM) School (Vile Parle) beat Campion 'B' (Cooperage) 4-1 in a Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA)-organised boys' U-16 Div III inter-school football tie at Azad Maidan yesterday.

Pranay headed in the opener during the first half and then scored two, the second with a long blast, in the second period, to seal Campion's fate. Aryan Raiyani fired home the fourth goal at the death, while Meru Krishang pulled one back for Campion. The Vile Parle lads showed good coordination to break down the rival defence. Captain Vidit led by example and Kshitij worked hard in the middle, creating openings for their forwards. In the fourth minute, Kshitij, with a precise through pass, found Saurabh Jha on the left, who outpaced his markers and cut deep before chipping across for Pranay to head home.
