Amidst a strenuous few weeks for Real Madrid players, both on and off the pitch, Vinicius Jr’s girlfriend Virginia Fonseca, 27, has announced their breakup recently. 

Fonseca, a TV presenter, entrepreneur, and social media influencer, wrote on Instagram: “I will always allow myself to truly live something, without fear, and without ceasing to be who I am. While we were together, I dedicated myself [to the relationship] a lot. But when something stops making sense, I prefer to have the maturity to put an end to it. Today, we choose to respect each other’s way. I cheer a lot for Vinicius’s happiness and success, and all of that with lots of affection. I ask for the respect of everyone and that it should be a page turned in the life of everyone, just as it will be in mine! Thank you.”
