Madrid: Spanish giants Real Madrid were on Friday kicked out of the Spanish King's Cup for fielding an ineligible player in their 3-1 win over Cadiz in the first leg of their third round tie on Wednesday night.

The judge appointed by the Spanish FA (RFEF) decided in Cadiz's favour after they had lodged a complaint that Denis Cheryshev should not have played in the game as he was suspended after seeing three yellow cards while playing for Villarreal in the competition last season, Xinhua reported.
