London: One of the biggest disadvantages of being a celebrity is that there is no shortage of critics. Opinions fly thick and fast when you are in the limelight.&nbsp;However, there are some who take to heart what critics say while there are some who simply do not bother.

In an interview to Maxim magazine, Ronaldo&rsquo;s girlfriend said they ignore critics. &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t care about people&rsquo;s opinions, and neither does Cristiano. Some people like you; some people hate you. You have to be strong,&rdquo; Shayk was quoted as saying.
Ronaldo faced fans fury after Portugal exited from the first round of the World Cup in Brazil recently. Meanwhile, Shayk, who recently starred in her maiden Hollywood movie Hercules, moaned that she is only offered roles such as strippers or bartenders.
&ldquo;Every time I get a script, it&rsquo;s, like, bartender&hellip; stripper&hellip; And I don&rsquo;t think I would make a bad bartender or stripper, you know?&rdquo; the 28-year-old said.
Although movies are now Shayk&rsquo;s priority, the Russian model insisted she is grateful for the financial security modelling brought her.
&ldquo;For me, it&rsquo;s business, not a hobby, like, &lsquo;Oh, I got $20,000 and I&rsquo;m going to spend it on shoes!&rsquo; What&rsquo;s the part I enjoy the most? The financial part. The independence,&rdquo; she said.
