Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha’s mother Ana Candida Evora has been granted a USA visa and is on her way to watch her son play against Uruguay in their second game, following his emotional revelation that they failed to arrange funds for the same. 

The US State Department stepped in and confirmed her visa as Vozinha’s comments after his stellar show in their 0-0 draw vs Spain went viral.
