Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany is clearly aware of Paris Saint-Germain’s surfeit of attacking talent, but believes his side are just as good and can overturn the one-goal deficit from their Champions League semi-final first leg at the Parc des Princes in tonight’s second leg at the Allianz Arena.
“They [PSG] have been the strongest team in Europe over the last couple of years, they’ve won the Champions League. Besides, their quality, coaching, and the age of the team is also on their side. They keep improving, they’re constantly learning. They’re a team who we respect and who are very difficult to play against. We believe the same of ourselves, though, and that we can beat them tomorrow,” Kompany told reporters on Tuesday.
