Washington: Somdev Devvarman's poor singles run continued as he was knocked out of the first round of men's singles qualifiers of the ATP Citi Open.
Somdev lost his opening round 2-6, 7-5, 2-6 to Darian King in the hard court event. Somdev had recently won a Challenger event in Winnetka, USA but has been struggling to go beyond qualifiers or first and second rounds on the ATP World Tour.
