<p>Germany&rsquo;s short-distance runner Alica Schmidt&rsquo;s dream of being a model at a fashion week has become a reality.&nbsp;</p>
<p>According to The Sun, Schmidt, known as the world&rsquo;s sexiest athlete, was one of the models for luxury fashion house, Hugo Boss at the Milan Fashion Week on Thursday.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Before she boarded the flight to Milan on Tuesday, Schmidt, 22, Instagrammed a picture of herself and wrote: &ldquo;I get to walk at fashion week in Milan. That&rsquo;s a little dream come true.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<p>In another post, she shared her excitement with &nbsp;her 2.5 million Instagram fans after landing the modelling assignment. &nbsp;&ldquo;I&rsquo;m in a really good mood and I&rsquo;m really excited because I&rsquo;m flying to Milan today,&rdquo; she wrote. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Last month, the stunner revealed that she plans to take a short break from athletics after she failed to qualify for the final women&rsquo;s 4x400m relay team at the Tokyo Games.&nbsp;</p>
