World No. 10 tennis ace Amanda Anisimova is no stranger to the spotlight, having finished as a Grand Slam runner-up twice in the last one year (at the 2025 Wimbledon and US Open). However, the American recently revealed that she doesn’t enjoy stardom too much, and often lies to strangers about her profession in order to keep a low profile.

In a recent fan interaction, the 24-year-old said: “I actually lie in an Uber, especially. I normally say that I just do finance. Then if they ask me more questions, that’s where it gets bad [since her lie may get caught.]”
