Just two weeks after being dropped from India's Davis Cup squad, Mahesh Bhupathi won his first doubles title in 2013 when he, along with Michael Llodra, upset the third seeded pair of Robert Lindstedt and Nenad Zimonjic 7-6 (6) 7-6 (6) in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships.
