A nine-race card has been announced at the Pune racetrack by the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) for Friday which will see five plate races and two trophy races divided into two divisions each-- one named after the late Dr Anil Kumar, a veterinarian and trainer who later shifted base out of western India, and who will always be remembered for his ever-smiling face. Dr Anil Kumar courageously fought a losing battle with cancer, and recently passed away. Minari and Pinnacle, both 3y old fillies, have slightly better credentials than their rivals in the two divisions of the Dr Anil Kumar Salver.
