I cleared my Chartered Accountancy (CA) entrance at the first attempt and this bronze has made me happy.&rdquo; He stressed that the last round was the most crucial as he needed a victory to keep his medal chances alive. &ldquo;It was a do-or-die situation as a draw would have been of no help,&rdquo; he said. The Baroda based youngster admitted that he has been focusing a lot less on chess for the past couple of years as he had given preference to academics. It can be recalled that Inani became the youngest to win the National Chess Championship for the Blind in 2010 after which MiD DAY set up a meeting with his idol Viswanathan Anand, who the youngster said had inspired and motivated him to a large extent.

Nineteen-year-old Darpan Inani of India bagged the bronze medal in the World Individual Junior chess Championship for the blind and visually impaired which concluded at Serbia on Saturday.
