Korea GP: Lewis Hamilton sets pace in practice

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton managed to hold off Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel in practice for Sunday's Korean Grand Prix, topping the timesheets in two closely-fought sessions and raising the prospect of a tight battle for pole position today.

Hamilton set a time of 1 minute 38.673 to end the day just a tenth up on Vettel after having pipped the reigning world champion by an even narrower margin of three-hundredths of a second in the first session.
