Spain's tennis ace <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/rafael+nadal-all">Rafael Nadal</a> recently updated his Facebook relationship status leaving his fans bewildered.
The former World No. 1 posted a Got Married update on Facebook, two years after officially announcing his marriage to Maria Francisca Perello.&nbsp;
Intrigued fans took to the comments section to congratulate him, while some saw the funny side of it.
&ldquo;Congratulations!!! Rafa and wife!!! I thought that you two were already married! Guess not...happy for you from Mount Shasta California!!&rdquo; wrote a fan.
&ldquo;How many hearts were broken with this bombshell. This happened in 2019 right?&rdquo; another fan commented. One user said: &ldquo;Congratulations but confused. His wiki page says he got married in October 2019.&rdquo;&nbsp;
&ldquo;Congratulations but couldn&rsquo;t imagine he&rsquo;d be getting married in the middle of the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/French+Open-all">French Open</a>,&rdquo; wrote another. The 20-time Grand Slam champion is currently playing in the French Open. He has won a record 13 singles crown at Roland Garros.
