Mumbai Port Authority (MbPT) and Champions Training Centre (CTC) Red registered wins on the opening day of the St Peter’s hockey tournament at Astro Park, Bandra, on Monday.

MbPT beat Don Bosco Academy 3-0 with Rahul S scoring a brace and Stephen S adding the third goal. CTC beat Hockey Astrengung (HA) 3-2. 


Bhim Batala, Manpreet Singh and Saddam Ahmed scored a goal each for CTC while Rohare P and Gavin netted one each for HA. 

In the third match of the day, Republicans beat Punjab Sports 3-0. Pranit Naik, Rhythm Mamnia and Dnyanesh V scored for Republicans.
