After a goalless first half, skipper Tainsh Shiriskar struck twice in the second half to steer Thakur Vidyamandir and Jr College past St Xavier's (Vile Parle) 2-0 to enter the boys U-14 quarter-finals of the Subroto Mukherjee Cup football tournament (for Suburban schools) of Maharashtra the government's Divisional Sports Office at the Francis D'Assisi Ground  in Borivli  yesterday.
