Decoding Japanese printmaking Artist Jai 'Zaiu Ranjit' will take you through the process of relief printmaking using sunboard and carving tools on paper through the basics of the delicate Japanese printmaking style. Titled Ukiyo-e, this technique allows you to create extremely intricate designs in printing. All art material shall be provided to the participants, and they can take away two prints on paper, along with the carving tools and print blocks. Laughter, fresh off the boat If you cannot get enough of Tanmay Bhat's jokes on Instagram and Twitter, head for a live performance. Catch him dole out some of fresh-off-the-oven material at his gig, Zero Expectations. Much is going on in the world right now for comedians to dig into. While Bhat has made himself heard time and again, as the title suggests, this time we'd rather not go in with expectations.

From Britain, with love Catch a specially curated set of short films on the loves of people in Britain during 1940's, which was a time of immense social, political and Cultural Revolution. The movies bring a slice of nostalgia and a tale of human spirit to endure under difficult circumstances. The film Morning Paper follows the production of an issue of The Times during the Blitz, from the daily editorial conference to the printing presses. There's London 1942, that chronicles the life and times of the big city in the middle of World War II. The history of the manufacture and design of woven and printed cotton fabrics is told in Queen Cotton, while Royal Road takes a look at both the public-facing activities of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth during the World War II, as well as a showing a glimpse of the royal family's private life in the gardens at Windsor. Hindi theatre at its best
In memory of Hindi playwright Dr Shankar Shesh, a two-day festival is being organised. It will showcase four of his most well-known plays &ndash; Poster, Ek Aur Dronacharya, Naye Sab Yata Naye Namune and Komal Gandhar. Some of these plays have been performed for the last 40 years.

Sleepy time tales on wheels
While the city continues to have several midnight cycling tours, this one comes with a twist. As you get to paddle, you immerse yourself in a storytelling session, that takes you back to a Bombay under the British Raj. Organised by The Legend of Bombay Bards, this session will tell the story Kimayagar, which is about a young Gujarati boy who migrated to the city. The sights of South Mumbai, especially those in Colaba play a key role in the story and the session will end with a story-tour-quiz. The tour will cover a distance of 10 km.
