Beautiful observations Letters
What a beautifully written piece by Paromita Vohra on the ongoing exhibition of Sudhir Patwardhan. Her words: u201c If, to pay attention without intrusion, is a kind of love...u201d and u201c web series, with their vintage filters, meticulously aged interiors and costumes and boring profanities...u201d There were many such fine thoughts interwoven in the piece.
Sunita Malpani Memories of LJ Road Meher Marfatiau2019s last column on Mahimu2019s LJ Road triggered a whole host of memories of the area I live in. At Lady Jamshetjee Road, where I live, there happens to be a nice stone memorial, all of six feet high, a bit ahead of Victoria church, with the words u201c Lady Jamsetjeeu2019s Roadu201d engraved in English and Gujarati. It dates back to 1846, perhaps just after the road was constructed. It was lovely reading about the road in the piece.
